Speaking to reporters after the game, though, Emery insisted he wasn’t bothered by the new record and already has his sights on the weekend’s fixture against Man United.
“It’s done,” he said. “Everything I did is done. Now I want to play Sunday in Manchester. I want to play (next) Thursday against Lille.
“I want to continue being demanding in how I can improve the team and myself.”
