Arsenal's Martin Odegaard has brushed off transfer talk as reports look towards the summer window.

As Arsenal head into their Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, they cannot help transfer reports linking players away from the club ahead of the summer window.

Odegaard will enter the final two years of his current contract at the end of the season and as his influence on the side slowly falls, reporters were keen to know if had thought about a move away from North London.

"I don’t know where that’s coming from," Odegaard said.

"My mindset is just about doing what I can every single day to do something special.

"There’s always going to be talk and people speculating and I guess that’s normal in football but it’s not something I know anything about."

On the Atletico clash: "It's the best part of the season. Everyone is up for it. Everyone is excited. It's another great opportunity for us to do something special.”

The winners of this tie between Atletico and Arsenal will test their strength against either Bayern Munich or holders Paris Saint-Germain in the final in what will be an even greater test.

Arsenal are one draw or victory away from matching their all-time best of 13 consecutive Champions League games unbeaten and will hope that squad leaders such as Odegaard can step up and launch the side into their first final since 2006.
