As confirmed by the club website, Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Ireland youth international Ozhianvuna who is an exciting prospect for the future.
“We have reached an agreement for Victor Ozhianvuna to join us from League of Ireland Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers in January 2027, when he turns 18.
“Everyone at Arsenal is excited to welcome Victor to the club in the near future.
“The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
Shamrock Rovers also confirmed the deal and stated that the deal is “a landmark transfer in Irish football and a template for the development of top young football talent in the country.”
The 16 year old will stay at the club until he turns 18. He has been at the club since age six and already has 16 senior appearances to his name, including minutes in the UEFA Conference League.
Ozhianvuna is an exciting prospect for the future and manager Mikel Arteta and his staff which includes Per Mertesacker as Academy Manager and Luke Hobbs as Head of Coaching will be keeping a keen eye on his progress.
