The Citizens have still yet to win a Premier League fixture in 2026, following three straight draws at the beginning of the year which includes their most recent 2-0 loss to Manchester United.
Manager Pep Guardiola and his side remain unbeaten on the road in this competition this season and will be without a ton of key players as they face a side who have played just 2 games in 2026.
In defence, City will miss Josko Gvardiol (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury) John Stones (Thigh Injury), Ruben Dias (thigh).
In midfield, Guardiola will be without the likes of Mateo Kovacic (Ankle/Foot Injury), Nico Gonzalez (unknown), Matheus Nunes (illness), Bernardo Silva (suspended) and Kalvin Phillips (out the squad).
Finally, in attack, Oscar Bobb (thigh), Savinho (unknown), Antoine Semenyo (not in squad) and Omar Marmoush (AFCON) are also missing in what will be a bare-bones side to face Bodo/Glimt who qualified for the league phase of the Champions League for the first time in their history this season.
The top eight ranked teams will advance to the Round of 16 with the sides finishing between 9th and 24th contesting the knockout phase play-offs.
A win is imperative for City who have won four, drawn one and lost only one of their six league phase fixtures. If 3 points are not picked up, City will have one final chance against Galatasaray in their final league phase game next week.
