BILD says Vuskovic's knee is “more severely damaged” than first thought and it remains unclear when he will be cleared to return to the pitch.
Vuskovic's form in Germany this season has brought him to the attention of Bayern Munich.
He recently said of his future: "In football, you never know.
“It could happen next year, or in ten years. I don't want to promise anyone anything. After this season, I'll be a Tottenham player again. I have a contract there until 2030.”
