England coach Tuchel tells German press: Kane best of his generation

Tuchel insists his captain is the best striker of his generation.

The former Tottenham star has been outstanding for Bayern since arriving two years ago and Tuchel told BILD: "He is undoubtedly the best striker of his generation. He has reached a new level and now scores two goals a game."

Tuchel then continued, highlighting the player's impact: "He's in fantastic form; you can feel he's full of confidence and can effortlessly carry both Bayern and England.

"He's at his best, and I'm delighted to have him as captain."
