Manchester United face Wolves on Tuesday night as manager Ruben Amorim deals with several absences.

United welcome bottom of the league Wolves to Old Trafford a few weeks on from a resounding 4-1 victory at Molineux thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount.

This time around, Amorim will be without the pair who are part of a long list of players who are set to miss out on the clash which could fire the Red Devils into 4th place.

Firstly, Noussair Mazraoui, Amad and Bryan Mbeumo make up the United trio representing their countries at the Africa Cup of Nations and will not be available.

Fernandes is out with a hamstring injury as confirmed by Amorim earlier this week, whilst Mount was forced off the pitch against Newcastle is a major doubt to feature on Tuesday.

Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire remain sidelined, whilst Kobbie Mainoo is also out after playing what could have been his final game against Bournemouth as he seeks a January move away.

Amorim said: "Kobbie Mainoo is going to start on the (training) pitch also, so we will see. Matthijs is struggling a little bit. Harry the same thing.

"I think Kobbie is not going to be ready. Bruno is not going to be ready. I think Matt is not going to be ready. Harry is not going to be ready. So, I think we are not going to have more players.”

Despite so many injuries, a win looks simple on paper for United who face a side who are winless in the league far and look destined to drop to the Championship.
