Speculation continues to surround Joao Pedro's future at Chelsea following an exceptional debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea signed Pedro from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, and the Brazilian has delivered on the pitch when most of his teammates have flopped.

Pedro surpassed the 20-goal mark in all competitions for the Blues in the 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the start of May, and has since attracted some unwanted transfer speculation.

Barcelona have expressed an interest in signing the 24-year-old to replace the legendary Robert Lewandowski, but according to reports, the talented forward is untouchable.

BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella has stated that Pedro is considered "not for sale" and is currently "happy" in West London, despite being disappointed with the club's current league position.

Chelsea are ninth in the table, four points behind seventh place Brighton with two matches left. The Blues best chance of qualifying for Europe appears to be winning the FA Cup against Manchester City on Saturday.

But that will be easier said than done, as they haven't beaten Pep Guardiola's side in their last 13 matches in all competitions.
