The Slavia Prague centre-back has already been ruled out of the country’s international friendly against Portugal.

Despite reports suggesting the 26-year-old had returned to the Czech Republic, Super Eagles Media Officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that Ogbu remains with the squad in camp.
“Twenty-two players trained today. Injured Igoh Ogbu is still with the team and will undergo a scan here in Lisbon on Monday,” Efoghe said, urging fans to ignore speculation.
Ogbu featured in both of Nigeria’s Unity Cup matches in London and started Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Poland before being replaced by Semi Ajayi at half-time due to injury.
