After early frustration in the tournament and online criticism over limited minutes, the forward thanked manager Carlo Ancelotti for trusting him in the 2-1 win over Japan, where he featured throughout the second half.
The 18-year-old said he was very happy to contribute at a crucial stage of the competition.
Following a successful loan spell at Lyon, Endrick is now looking forward to returning to Real Madrid to begin a new chapter in his career.
"I am very happy and grateful to God because the past six months have been exceptional in my life. My career has changed a lot during this period," Endrick stated per AS.
"At the beginning of this year, I wasn't playing with Real Madrid, then I had the opportunity to leave on loan. I thank God for that, and I also thank Lyon for opening its doors to me and giving me the chance to showcase my potential and reach the World Cup."
