Since joining from Barnsley in 2024, Styles has made 82 appearances in all competitions, becoming a key figure in defence and a fan favourite for consistency.
In an interview with WBA TV, he explained the decision: “As soon as I heard from my agent that the club wanted to extend, it was a matter of asking ‘when can you get the deal done?’,” he said.
“It’s just felt like the right connection. Players can go to clubs and not click, but I think it’s really clicked for me here.
“Ever since I first played at The Hawthorns, I remember getting thumped when I was at Barnsley, 4-0. I think it was the last game of the season.
“And I was like ‘wow what a club this is’, genuinely. And then the move happened in the summer of 2024. Since then, I’ve embraced every minute and it’s been amazing.
“I’ve loved it here from the first day and I’m hoping we can achieve better things in the future.”
