Wolves boss O'Neil: West Ham clash a big one for us

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil is ready to face former club West Ham on Saturday.

O'Neil had two-and-a-half years as a player with West Ham.

He said: "I had to change how I went about playing. It was a tough spell when your career is threatened at a young age. [I have] fond memories. I signed there and we had an uplift in form. I had a bad injury and we went down [from the Premier League in 2011], but we bounced back [with promotion].

"It's a really special football club. They've spent a lot of money but they've spent it well. David Moyes has done a fantastic job to get those points on the board."

O'Neil also said: "It's a home game after two tough away games. West Ham have got most of their players back now. To make it three points at home tomorrow will be big for us.

"It's more adapting to the issues we have really. We've got some right and some wrong. We've had another few days working on our game plan. I spoke to the boys after the Burnley game about the feeling you get when you win and we're desperate for that."
