Trossard happy with Arsenal start for victory over Luton

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta rotated his team to great effect on Wednesday night.

Winger Leandro Trossard, who ejoyed a rare start, was happy to play his part in the club's title quest.

The likes of Trossard, Emile Smith Rowe, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Thomas Partey got game time in a 2-0 win over Luton Town.

Post-game, Trossard said: “Everyone showed they can play and make it hard for the manager. I think he is happy with the performance of all the players so it couldn't be better.

"There were five changes in this game and everyone did their job and that is what we need in the team - competition.

“Confidence levels are really high. Hopefully we can maintain this and we have to take it game by game because we are playing every three days but it is a nice win here and we can look forward to the weekend. It is really good in the team at the moment and we need to maintain that and keep going."
