REVEALED: Inter Milan president Zhang well protected if Oaktree take charge

Local lawyer Michele La Francesca says Inter Milan president Steven Zhang is well protected if Oaktree take charge.

Inter owners Suning are under pressure to repay a Oaktree loan with the deadline looming.

"To know what will happen on May 21st (the deadline) you would need to have a crystal ball," La Francesca told Cronache di Spogliatoio.

“I am used to reasoning on documents. I am basing myself on the document from Hong Kong. They reveal that Zhang protected himself through the estimation of fair market value.

“For Zhang, it would not be too dramatic to leave Inter because, in any case, they should give him the remainder he is entitled to according to the fair market value."

Suning took out a €275m loan from Oaktree, which can take control of the club if it isn't repaid in time.
