Former Tottenham captain Jamie Redknapp was left baffled by their defeat at Fulham.
The Cottagers thrashed Spurs 3-0 on Saturday.
Redknapp told Sky Sports: "When I've watched Tottenham this year, there's been so much joy in their play. I've really thoroughly enjoyed it, the energy they've played with. I thought those type of performances [against Fulham] were a thing of the past. I didn't think we'd be seeing them anymore under Ange Postecoglou.
“I'm looking for excuses. [Micky] Van de Ven not playing is a big one because he's such an important player but there's been other games where he hasn't played and they've been fine. There was a lethargy about their play, there was no energy.
“Players that have had big performances - Destiny Udogie has been fantastic, so many plaudits. Today, so off it. [Yves] Bissouma in midfield, James Maddison, they never got to grips, they never won individual battles.
“I was amazed. I almost want to hear an excuse from the manager that there was like a 'Lasagne-gate' or something. That there was some kind of flu in the team because I can't fathom what I've seen in terms of their energy."
