Newcastle United may have some competition if they want to secure Lewis Hall for the long-term.
The left-back is on loan at the St. James' Park club from Chelsea, with a buy option part of the deal.
However, The Sun states that Newcastle may lose out on Hall to Crystal Palace.
The youngster has not featured as much as he would have preferred this season.
The source states that if Newcastle finish below 15th in the Premier League, they would not have to sign Hall.
However, if they finish 14th of above, they are obligated to complete his purchase.
In that case, Palace would only have a chance if Newcastle tumble down the table, as they are currently 14 points clear of that spot.
