Newcastle chief Nickson made double international scouting trip

Newcastle United's head of recruitment Steve Nickson had a busy time over the weekend.

He is said to have been taking in matches in London to scout players for the Magpies.

Per Chronicle Live, he watched England take on Brazil, with a view on several Seleção players.

Raphinha is one who may be available, while Juventus center-back Gleison Bremer is admired as well.

He was also at the London Stadium to take in Colombia against Spain, where left-back Grimaldo of Spain was the target of his scouting.

Grimaldo has impressed at Bayer Leverkusen this season, while he has a contract until 2027.
