Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has dismissed criticism of his selection with Denmark.

Many have questioned Eriksen's place given his lack of minutes with United.

But he told Sporten: "Of course it touches me, but it's more the feeling of: 'Do you really have something to say? Other than getting a lot of new followers or putting your own name on the map?'

"As a team, we helped create a more negative conversation than there was before the World Cup, and it was our own fault, so for us it's about changing the conversation.

"Not just for me personally, but for the national team."
