Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says they want to show they belong at Liverpool's level today.
United host Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinal later on Sunday.
Ten Hag said: "We're really looking forward to this game.
"There are always huge fixtures [between] Manchester United [and] Liverpool and the players, they want to play such games because they get challenged.
"We know that it's a strong side, but yeah, as I say, the challenge is there and we want to play our football. We want to show that we can beat them.
"We want to show everyone we can play on the high levels, and we know we have to do that in togetherness."
United defeated Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford in the Premier League last season and Ten Hag said: "I hope we can get the same atmosphere.
"That would be a fantastic help.
"But by the end of the day, it doesn't matter what the atmosphere is, [it's about] how the game will go. If we play bad or we play good, we have to win. It's about this."
