Manchester City star Jeremy Doku was happy with his performance in the team's latest win.

The Citizens racked up an impressive 5-1 success over newly promoted Luton Town.

After casting aside the relegation candidates, Doku and his teammates are looking forward to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

“Of course, I'm happy. After a long time [not scoring], it's good for the head," Doku stated post-game.

“There are some games where you create chances, but the statistics don't follow but today was a good day. I created some chances and got my goal. I tried to look for it and today it worked. I'm very happy about that.

“Confidence is a huge part and when I've got confidence, I know I can get past the man and if I don't, next time I go again and again. I believe I can get past him.

“I'm very happy with my performance and the team as well. We played well."
