Premier League leaders Liverpool expect to have a key midfielder fit in the coming days.
The Reds are hopeful that Wataru Endo will be available for Sunday's trip to Manchester United.
The Japanese international was not involved in their 3-1 win over Sheffield United on Thursday.
However, manager Jurgen Klopp told his post-match press conference at Anfield: "That's my information [that he will be fit].
"We rested him today. We had a feeling there could have been a chance for tonight but if we leave him out then there is a big chance for Sunday.
“I hope that didn't change."
