Lazio attacker Pedro admits their Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich was disappointing.

Bayern won 3-0 to reach the quarterfinals 3-1 on aggregate.

Pedro told the Lazio Style Channel: "It's a shame, the Champions League dream that we all had is over. It was a good opportunity to do something special for the club. We had a good first half, the second was more difficult. With the third goal, the match was over, it was difficult recover the ball despite the pressing. Really a shame.

"The second goal was very difficult before the break. We also started the second half well but then the third ended the game. If we have to find something positive, we'll keep the big match in the first leg. It must give us confidence for the future.

"We could have done something more, but that's how it went. Provedel's goal will be remembered forever, my goal in Glasgow was beautiful and important especially because I almost never use my head to score. I keep this memory."
