The Germany attacker has grown into his role this season.

He told Sky Deutschland: "For me, when I moved from Chelsea, it was normal that you need a bit of time to settle in and get to know everyone properly and to have a good relationship on the pitch.

"And it was clear to me that it might not click after the first week, but that it would take a few weeks."

Havertz has now found his form at Arsenal. With eight goals and four assists, he has equalled his best league record from his Chelsea days.

"I feel extremely good," the attacker continues, "I love the club, I love the players, the staff and I love the fans. So for me it was absolutely the right thing to do and I'm just happy to be here and to be fighting for titles this year."
