Chelsea manager Pochettino: Reaching Wembley can be good for our youngsters

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino admits that getting to Wembley again would be an achievement for his team.

The Blues are in the FA Cup quarter finals, where they take on Championship flyers Leicester City.

While they are favorites for the game, Pochettino knows that Leicester have the quality to cause an upset.

On going to Wembley for a potential semi final, he stated: “I don't know because always is a strange year to judge what it means to be successful because it's difficult because sometimes expectations are so high or so low and it depends on the mood of the day. Like in England, sometimes it rains and sometimes it's sunny. I think for us to be beat Leicester, in a private room and inside of the dressing room in the training ground, would be massive for us.

“To have another game, another possibility to play for this young team to play at Wembley again because, between you and me, some players didn't sleep the day before the [Carabao Cup] final. That is only about to be more experienced and live together this type of situation to make us better. But of course for us to reach another semi-final is going to be so good for us and the possibility after to challenge in the final and be in Europe through the FA Cup would be massive.

“First of all we need to think about Leicester, who are doing really, really well in the Championship. A very good team and we know very well the players and the coach is doing fantastic. It is going to be very tough to beat them."
