Barcelona are pushing to secure Pau Cubarsi to a senior contract.

While confident of the 17 year-old's commitment, Barca are wary of major English clubs chancing their arm for the youngster.

The defender remains on a youth deal and can be signed for a knockdown €10m.

Manchester City and Manchester United both made attempts for Cubarsi last summer, while Chelsea have expressed interest since the season kicked off.

Cubarsi's youth deal expires to 2026.
