Barcelona are planning a new offer for Xavi.

The Catalans want to keep Xavi involved as they prepare for him to step down as coach at the end of the season.

Catalunya Ràdio reports Barca want to offer him the position of ambassador of the Barça Foundation.

Xavi has a year to run on his current deal, but has announced he will leave the job at the end of the season.

He is expected to leave the club and take a year off to spend time with his family. However, Barca intend to maintain a link with their former captain courtesy of the Foundation role.
