Barcelona midfielder Pedri has received positive news over his latest injury.

Pedri suffered a thigh injury during Sunday's 0-0 draw at Athletic Bilbao.

There were concerns that his season could be over, however Mundo Deportivo says Pedri has avoided a deep tear.

As such, there's confidence Pedri will be fit for the April 21 El Clasico against Real Madrid.

The preceding two weeks will include both legs of the Champions League quarterfinal, though for the moment Barca believe that may be too soon for Pedri.
