Atalanta striker Scamacca left frustrated after Verona fight-back

Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca was left frustrated after their 2-2 draw with Verona.

Scamacca and Ederson had La Dea 2-0 ahead before they were pegged back by Verona.

Scamacca said: "There are many aspects to improve on. Tonight I made some wrong choices, where I played the ball first instead of keeping it. It was a shame, it seemed like we had the three points in hand.

"I've had some complicated months, I've always worked and when you work your moment comes."

Asked about scoring at Liverpool last week, he added: "Winning 3-0 isn't something that happens often. On Thursday (in the Europa League quarterfinal second-leg) we have to think about being 0-0, we need to be determined. It will be a fundamental match for us."
