Arsenal suffer Club World Cup blow

Arsenal were dealt a double blow after their midweek Champions League game on Wednesday.

The Gunners lost 1-0 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich in the quarter finals.

The result was bad enough for the Gunners, but they are now out of the Club World Cup next year as well.

The tournament will feature 32 teams and had places for several European sides, depending on how they have fared in recent years.

Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City have qualified for the tournament, while the last spot is going to FC Salzburg.

There were other teams with more points, but there is a limit on how many teams can participate from each nation, per The Mail.
