The 25-year-old is currently at the World Cup with France, and could make his tournament debut when Didier Deschamps' side clash against Senegal on Tuesday.

Naturally, anyone playing at the most prestigious competition on earth can skyrocket their price tag with exceptional performances, and Kone will want to carry his club form onto the international stage.

The midfielder recorded five goal involvements in 29 Serie A appearances last term as Roma finished third, with the Italian giants needing to cash in on some players as they're under pressure to meet UEFA's FFP rules before June 30.

Kone could, indeed, land them a sizeable fee and get them out of hot water, and here is what he had to say when asked about his future.

“I am focused on the World Cup. After that, we will see what happens," he said.

Premier League title winners Arsenal are weighing up an offer for him, as Mikel Arteta looks for quality midfield reinforcements.
