The KNVB are on the lookout for a new boss but have now learned that one big name candidate isn’t interested in taking over.
Speaking from Twente’s training camp in Tegelen, Ten Hag, 56, moved swiftly to rule himself out of the running.
As quoted by AD, Ten Hag said: "I am not available. I deliberately chose to take this step. I will be fully focused on this for at least the next two years. I am enjoying my time here and want to help the club move forward."
Ten Hag currently serves as FC Twente’s technical director following a shockingly short stint as Bayer Leverkusen manager.
