Del Piero tells Modric after Milan derby win: You can play until you're 50!

Now 40, Modric was outstanding for AC Milan in Sunday's 1-0 derby win against Inter Milan.

At the final whistle, Modric chatted with Del Piero for CBS Golazo, with the Italian joking: "With the quality of Italian food, you can play until you're 50..."

Modric replied: "We Croatians are a proud people; we like to fight and suffer." 

The midfielder went on: "We didn't play well in those games, we dropped too many points along the way.

"That's part of football, we need to improve in matches against teams that don't give us much space."
