Kone has been heavily linked with a move to Man United as part of Michael Carrick’s midfield rebuild, having already added Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.
According to Corriere della Sera, during conversations over Alejandro Garnacho’s potential move to Roma, Chelsea have informed them of their interest in Kone.
Roma need to sell players in order to adhere to FFP obligations and it’s understood a fee of around €50 million would be enough to get a deal for Kone done.
