Amorim, who was appointed as Milan manager last month to replace Massimiliano Allegri this month, has already been linked with Manuel Ugarte, Mason Mount, and Amad Diallo as he attempts to restructure the Italian side.
Milan have made two signings so far this summer in Goncalo Ramos from PSG and Mario Gila from Lazio. Despite splashing the cash, Amorim is not done and wants more quality in side who finished 5th in the Serie A last season.
Per Metro Sport, Amorim is eager to lure away Mazraoui who has made 77 appearances for United since his £17m move from Bayern Munich in 2024.
Mazraoui, who is 28-years-old, also has a contract expiring in 2028 with an option is said to be one of Amorim’s “favourites” but “there are no negotiations underway, there’s no direct contact between the clubs” as per Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto.
Amorim was unveiled by the Serie A giants earlier this month and he admitted that he had learnt from his “mistakes” with the Red Devils and that he was “really proud” to be United boss, despite his time being cut short due to poor performances.
Mazraoui could be tempted by a move but reports state that he may also be hoping to book a place in the starting eleven now that Luke Shaw is being slowly pushed out the side.
