Arias suggested recently that the presence of players such as Brazil internationals Andre and Joao Gomes in the Wolves setup helped convince him to move to the West Midlands.
"It’s a project I believe in. They showed me the plans, and there are top players there – I don’t even need to mention André or João Gomes, who came from Flamengo.
"I believe in the squad and in the manager’s work. I know what they expect from me, and I’m ready to give 100%.”
The 27-year-old attacker moves to the Old Gold on a four-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months, and becomes the second addition of the summer after Spaniard Fer Lopez. He leaves Fluminense with 102 goal contributions and is an exciting addition for manager Vitor Pereira.
Reports suggest that Arias will act as a straight replacement for Matheus Cunha who moved to Manchester United this summer and will be one of Pereira's two number 10s. The deal also for the Brazilian international includes around £4.3M in add-ons and a 10 per cent sell-on clause which could be a significant amount if he performs in the Premier League over the next few years.
