After the 2-1 reverse, Potter spoke with talkSPORT reporter Ian Abrahams, a Hammers fan, though the conversation lasted barely a minute.
Abrahams asked Potter if he still believed he was "the right man for the job".
Potter replied: "Yes."
Abraham then asked a follow-up question: "Even though you've had a poor start to the season?"
Potter's repy was: "Yes", which left Abrahams stating "fair enough".
