But Nuno, asked if West Ham expect Manchester City to make a new attempt for the Brazil international after last year's interest, is convinced that attempt now belongs in the past.
“I think that is over. It’s finished, it’s clear,” Nuno said when asked about the failed move to Man City.
“We did what we had to do. The squad supports Lucas, and this is what is most important, that his teammates support him.”
