Man United looked set to win their fourth consecutive Premier League game when they went into half-time 1-0 up against Nottingham Forest on Saturday (November 1).
Two Forest goals in two minutes just after the break threw a spanner in the works for Amorim’s side, but Diallo, 23, rescued a point with an exquisite volley from just outside the box.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the wing-back insisted that the players still back Amorim despite his somewhat rocky start to the season.
Amad said: "Honestly we are really disappointed to go home with one point. We were in a good moment, winning three games in a row. We wanted to do the fourth, but we can learn from this and then try to do the best next time.
"As a team, we are learning every day with the manager, with Ruben, because we believe in his system. But I think today we are really disappointed because as a team we demand a lot."
