On Sunday, Sunderland held Aston Villa to a 1-1 draw in a hard-fought match that also resulted in the dismissal of Black Cats wing-back Reinildo Mandava.

During the match, Rogers was tackled by defender Trai Hume in a particularly forceful and ill-timed manner.
Sunderland's media team shared Hume's foul in what was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek post, complete with operatic background music (Schubert's 'Ave Maria') and the sarcastic comment: "Still got the ball."
The attacker clearly didn't appreciate the move, reposting the video on his Instagram stories, writing: "A good message to send... dangerous tackles become highlights to show on reels."
