Sunderland have reportedly made contact with Man United over a 'dream' move for winger Amad Diallo this summer.

The now 23-year-old spent 2022-23 on loan at the Stadium of Light, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in his 42 games.

Diallo quickly became a fan favourite has Sunderland reached the Championship play-offs, ultimately losing to Luton Town in the semis.

According to the I Paper, Sunderland have reached out to Man United over an ambitious move to bring Diallo back to the club.

It’s understood that Diallo’s reduced role since the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have started ‘the first rumblings about his long-term future at Old Trafford’.
