The Irons host Sunderland in Saturday's early kickoff.
Scarles has started each of the West Ham’s last six Premier League matches and told the club's website: "I think we can feel it.
“Hopefully we can use this as momentum to go and push on and help ourselves achieve safety.
“We know we’re not in the situation we want to be in right now, but from the last two games, the FA Cup game and obviously the win on the weekend against Spurs, that’s all we can do is give our all and keep fighting and keep picking up wins, because that’s how we’re going to get out of this situation.”
On Sunderland, Scarles also said: “You can see how well they’re doing, they’re up near the European spots, but we’ve just got to go into it like any other game and fight and give everything, because as we’ve seen, anything can happen in Premier League games.
“So, yeah, we’ve just got to give everything and just stick together and hopefully we can come out with a result, fingers crossed.”
