Fellow Swede Larsson recalled to Flashscore: "I spoke to Barcelona about him when I was there.
"They asked me for a list of strikers and I suggested Alexander Isak. There was also Robert Lewandowski (…) It's not up to me.
"He's been a talent since he was 15. Playing for Newcastle isn't easy and he did fantastically well. Now he's going to Liverpool and that's just the next step."
