Portuguese duo battle to sign West Ham outcast Luis Guilherme

The 19-year-old has made just 18 appearances across all competitions since joining from Brazilian side Palmeiras.

According to ESPN Brazil, Porto and Sporting are both willing to offer the winger an exit route away from the Premier League side.

It’s understood that Sporting are ahead of Porto in the race to sign Guilherme and are ‘close’ to agreeing a permanent deal.

Guilherme joined West Ham as one of the best young talents in Brazil for a reported fee of £25 million back in the summer of 2024.
