Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson admits there was frustration in the home dressing room after Monday night's 0-0 draw with West Ham.

Captain for the night, Henderson says the result was a missed opportunity.

"We're disappointed," he told Sky Sports. "I think the lads gave it everything they could. Obviously we had a few tired legs out there.

"But we did manage to push on towards the end and try and get the winner, unfortunately we just couldn't do that today.

"We take the clean sheet, we move on and then we'll get ready for some important games coming up.

"I'll be honest. We wanted to win. We wanted to close the gap to the teams above.

"Ultimately we tried. We tried our best. We played late midweek and that can be tough at times... with the three games in a week.

"It's a bit of a missed opportunity really. We wanted to push on in the league, but we can still do that. Hopefully we can win our game in hand and push on."
