RB Leipzig centre forward Benjamin Sesko is due to be announced as a United player in the coming days after agreeing a deal worth £66.3M plus £7.3M in add-ons with the Bundesliga side this week. The move shows a real distrust with Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee who have struggled since making their moves to the Premier League.
Hojlund has scored 26 goals in 95 games for United, but hit the net just four times in the Premier League last season which is not good enough for Amorim who is now desperate to sell the Danish international to free up funds to fuel more transfers.
This comes from Mail Online who report that Hojlund has his heart set on returning to Serie A this summer and that The Red Devils have opened the door to selling Hojlund for just £30M despite bringing him in for £72M from Atalanta two years prior.
Reports state that AC Milan representatives have flown to London to speak to United about the possibility of signing Hojlund in a move that would make sense for the young striker who is clearly not quite cut out for England’s top division at the moment.
Sesko arrived in the UK via a private jet on Thursday evening and is due to undergo a medical on Friday before completing his move to Amorim’s side. His transfer may bring an end to Hojlund and Zirkzee’s short lived career at United in what are two moves to forget for both parties.
