The Portuguese has hit out at Marinakis and technical director Edu in his press conferences over the past week. Nuno has been left frustrated with the state of his squad and also after seeing his powers watered down in terms of buying and selling players.
TMW says Mourinho is in the frame as a successor, along with former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou.
Mourinho has expressed a willingness to return to England over the past 12 months, though being under contract at Fener could create problems for Marinakis in contrast to Postecoglou, who is a free agent.
