A midfield overhaul is on the cards at Old Trafford, with Casemiro already announcing his departure and Manuel Ugarte given the green light to exit.
Ederson is currently a top contender to replace Casemiro in the engine room, and he's joined by Premier League trio Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton as possible targets.
Jobe Bellingham, meanwhile, has also emerged on their radar ahead of the transfer window after showing admiration towards the 20-year-old in October.
Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund from Sunderland for £30 million last summer, and according to TEAMtalk, he is one of four Dortmund players United officials have watched this season, including Daniel Svensson, Nico Schlotterbeck and Karim Adeyemi.
As it stands, though, Bellingham's development has become an increasingly frequent discussion point among United's recruitment staff in recent months.
Whether their admiration leads to a bid this summer remains to be seen, but the attacking midfielder has certainly impressed since the turn of the year after starting 18 of Dortmund's last 20 matches.
