Man United have been dealt a major injury blow with Amad Diallo reportedly set to miss the next six weeks.

Michael Carrick couldn’t have imagined a worse start to their Premier League campaign as Man United fell to a 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Hull.

United will be hoping to put things right in their new game against Ipswich on Sunday (August 30), but they’ll have to do it without one of their biggest attacking threats.

Per GOAL, Diallo, 24, is expected to miss the next six weeks after picking up an ankle injury during training earlier in the week.

United will be without the Ivory Coast international for a string of key games, including the Manchester Derby on September 13th.

It’s understood the club’s medical department will monitor his recovery closely and have no intention of rushing him back.
