The 15-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most exciting prospects to come out of Man United’s academy for years.
Currently playing for the club’s Under-18s, the striker registered an incredible 23 goals and three assists in 23 games last season.
According to The Sun, Gabriel has caught the attention of several top European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Gabriel’s father has an Irish passport, meaning the youngster would be eligible to move to Europe and get around post-Brexit transfer rules.
Man United are determined not to let him leave, however, and Michael Carrick is already including him in first-team training in hopes of persuading him to stay.
The report also adds that United are working to ensure he is protected from excessive media glare and burnout.
