Fernandes was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia throughout the summer but ultimately decided to stay at Old Trafford and help United return to the top.
According to Manchester Evening News, his, and United’s, resolve will be tested again in January with several Saudi clubs hoping to secure Fernandes’ signature.
It’s understood that Fernandes would receive a tax-free package of £700,000-a-week should he decide to head to the Middle East.
